CYMS Hockey Club has been part of the Orange sporting community since 1973, proudly wearing the green and gold for over 50 years. We are a family-focused, community-driven club that welcomes players of all ages and abilities, from our youngest juniors picking up a stick for the first time to experienced senior players competing across local grades.

At CYMS, hockey is more than a game. It is about connection, confidence, teamwork and belonging. We are passionate about creating a supportive environment where players develop skills, build friendships and feel proud to represent our club both on and off the field.

About CYMS Hockey Club

Founded in 1973, CYMS Hockey Club is one of Orange’s most established and community-driven sporting clubs. For over five decades, we’ve been bringing families, friends and players together through a shared love of hockey.

We are proud to be a club built on opportunity, inclusivity and development. From our youngest players taking their very first swing at the ball, through to seasoned seniors who have been part of the CYMS family for years, our focus is simple: create a positive, supportive environment where everyone can thrive.

A Club for All Ages

We welcome players aged 3 to 18 in our junior programs, along with competitive and social senior teams across men’s and women’s grades. Whether you are brand new to hockey or returning with years of experience, there is a place for you at CYMS.

Our junior pathway focuses on skill development, confidence building and enjoyment. We believe that if children love coming to training, improvement follows naturally. Many of our seniors began in our junior ranks, which is something we are incredibly proud of.

More Than Just a Team

CYMS is a family club at heart. Parents become volunteers, teammates become lifelong friends, and weekends at the turf become part of the rhythm of life. We are powered by passionate committee members, coaches, managers and supporters who give their time to make our club stronger each season.

We work hard to keep hockey accessible and affordable for local families, while still providing quality coaching, strong competition and a welcoming culture.
